Tahoe Ski house weekend

Renting a ski house at Tahoe is part of living in the Bay Area. Get a group of friends together and if you can swing it, rent a house for the whole season. If you can't pull that off, or if you can't commit to that much skiing, then renting a house for a few weekends is still an option.

One of the best places to rent a house (in my opinion) is on the back-side of Alpine Meadows. This gives easy access to the Ice Bar which makes a great place to hang out with friends for a few beers (especially when you bring them from the house!)

After a good day of skiing (and a little apres-ski) we choose to go for a short snowshoe on Sunday.
