Hiking in Marin

From the Pantoll Ranger station we hiked down towards the coast along larger trails and fire roads. The old trail that I had taken in the past was long gone so Meghan and I followed some vehicle tracks down the hills to Hwy 1.

At Highway 1, near the Steep Ravine cabins we picked up the Steep Ravine trail and made our way back up to the ranger station.

This is a great day hike with plenty of variety in scenery, trail, topography, and climate zones.
