Michigan weekend

Meghan and I spent a weekend driving around the countryside of Michigan. We went out to (and up) the West side of Michigan checking out the scenery along the way to Glen Arbor. Once there, we hiked along some of the dunes of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

The next day we continued our drive North past Shalda Creek, through Leland and up to the 'tip of the pinkey of the mitten' and the tip of the Leelanau peninsula.

From there we head back through Traverse City and back to Lansing.

It was a fun weekend though the weather was a little warm for that perfect fall getaway.
