Marin Headlands hike

The great weather in San Francisco just continued through the holidays, so on New Years Day Meghan and I took advantage of the opportunity and went for a hike in Marin.

As we left the parking area and rounded a turn on the trail a pack of coyotes ran across the trail and into the bushes, which was pretty awesome.

Just a little later down the trail we came across an owl that had met its fate and perhaps was what the coyotes had been coming from..

We continued up onto the ridge where I played around a little bit with my longer zoom lens and grabbed some photos of some of the birds circling around us.

In no time we were back at the car heading back into the city
