Dylan the new pup

A few months ago Meghan told me about someone she works with having an overly pregnant dog. We half-joked about perhaps taking one of the pups home when they were older.

The lab mom gave birth to 11 (!) puppies who had been fathered by some other kind of dog (we're not sure).

Two months later Meghan and I are on the phone, the pups in her hospital, talking about whether we were seriously going to choose one.

And here we are.

We've had Dylan for about 3 weeks now - he's now 11 weeks old. He's proving to be a pretty smart dog, picking up plenty of new tricks which, I guess, is easy for new dogs.
