Blue Angels in San Francisco Fleet Week in San Francisco is spectacular – in it’s true definition. It is a spectacle to be seen. There have been several years where I’ve been out of town for the affair, and when I am, I’m always a little disappointed that I missed it. This year, Meghan and I checked out the sights on Saturday and Sunday, enjoying the awesome weather we had to accompany the event. We only spent a little time in the Marina – basically enough to see the Blue Angels with only a couple of other aerial displays – but really the Blue Angels are the main draw. We tried a few different vantage points around the Marina Green on Sunday heading out further along the water’s edge. But really it doesn’t matter where you are – it’s a good view from all over the Marina (although the years I’ve seen it from the rooftops are always more impressive).
