Home/2009 photos/Heron's Head park

a few bird and dog photos Heron's Head park is located along the San Francisco bay waterfront but in a more industrial part of town. It's an old pier/jetty that juts out into the bay. I imagine they manufactured liberty ships here during World War II. Today, it is remade as a small park that makes for a good place to walk the dog. Dylan enjoys the open space and the lack of a leash. There's also a small bit of tidal pools that attract a variety of birds - and I imagine fish, from the groups of fishermen that are often out there.
